消化器外科の診療に従事しています。手術治療は薬物療法などにはない根治性を持っている一方で，患者さんへの侵襲を伴う治療でもあります。手術を行うに当たってはその利点と欠点を患者さんに十分に理解して受けていただけるよう丁寧な説明を心がけます。
